Under the ordinance O-15-21 sponsored by Alderman Rob Savidge, D-Ward 7, individuals or groups who spend more than $5,000 to advocate about an issue or political candidate that isn’t in coordination with a campaign, committee or related party will have to file an expenditure report with the city.
