The bill, sponsored by Democrats Lisa Rodvien, from Annapolis, Allison Pickard from Glen Burnie and Julie Hummer from Laurel, would make it easier for homeowners to rent out accessory dwelling units, spaces on the property of a single-family home where another person could live independently.
